Order Placement

Payment for Everyday cake orders are taken at time of order placement and not time of despatch.

Party cake orders received within 10-days of delivery date must be paid for in full at time of order placement. Orders received outside this timescale will be subject to either a 50% deposit upon order placement via internet bank transfer or Paypal or payment in full dependent on the agreement between both parties.

The Cake Crusader will send an invoice to the customer upon order placement. Party cakes will not be scheduled until the agreed payment has been made.

Any party cake balance becomes payable 5-days prior to delivery.

You may place your order on-line or by phone (Our business hours are from 9.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday).

Orders placed by 3.30pm on a working day will be processed that day, orders placed after 3.30pm will be processed on the following working day.

We endeavour to despatch all Everyday Cake orders within 3-days of order placement (this may be more during busy periods), unless specified otherwise at time of order placement.

Once you have placed your order on-line you will receive confirmation of the order details via email.

If a specific delivery date has been agreed, you will also receive separate confirmation of this. Please check the date and let us know as soon as possible if any details require amending.

If you are placing an order which is to be delivered to a different address to your own we recommend that you inform the recipient to expect a delivery so they are available to receive it and also to provide us with a contact phone number for the recipient should there be any difficulties when delivering eg. not being able to find the property.

We shall not be liable to the customer or the customer’s recipient of the goods for any claims or damages which may arise, however caused beyond the original cost of the order.

When placing your order through Paypal please denote any specific additional details or requirements in the drop down box on the checkout screen.

We will not dispatch everyday cake orders without delivery instructions. If we do not receive any specific instructions upon order placement we will contact you to ascertain the date required.

Please remember that all cakes are hand-made and will therefore vary in shape and size.

Ingredients
All the ingredients are found by clicking on “More details” within the “Buy our Everyday Cakes” section. It is the customer’s responsibility to check through all of the ingredients to ensure that the correct cake is chosen for the specific dietary requirement. If you are unsure about any of the ingredients within the cakes please contact us prior to order placement.

Cancellations
All our cakes are made to order therefore once an order has been processed cancellation is not possible.

Refunds
Prior to delivery to you your cakes will be very carefully packaged so that they arrive in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that the cakes appear to have been damaged during transit, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt providing photographic evidence of the damage.

Any replacement products, refunds or compensation will be considered, and may be granted at our discretion and only in the event that the cakes are damaged beyond reasonable use.

Collection

Upon collection The Cake Crusader will always ensure that the customer has viewed the cake to check that it is in proper condition and appearance, without defects, and to the customer’s specifications.

After collection, the customer must provide a flat and level surface for transportation of the cake(s) and shall be solely responsible for any damage to any cake(s) once leaving The Cake Crusader premises.

Any repairs following damage sustained after leaving The Cake Crusader premises will be paid for at an additional cost to the customer.
